The Sheffield Air Map has been created in line with Government recommendations on air quality. It has been designed to increase awareness of how we can tackle air quality issues by providing, in real-time, dynamic data information within the Air Quality Management area. The purpose of SAM is to co-ordinate and promote activities taking place across Sheffield that contribute to better air quality and environmental efficiency.
Care4Air is a South Yorkshire wide campaign aimed at improving air quality. It is a partnership of the Metropolitan Borough Councils of Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham, Sheffield Ctiy Council and South Yorkshire Travelwise.
The Sheffield Clean Air Partnership has been formed to address the issue of air quality in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
